Worcester Youth Guitar Orchestra

The orchestra was formed by Steve Bridgwater and Tim Roberts in 2000, and has a steady membership of about twelve players.
The WYGO (as it is affectionately abbreviated!) is now run by Tim and Claire Rawlinson, although Steve does still contribute arrangements from time to time.

The orchestra plays arrangements made by ourselves and others of a wide range of music and styles. Past works have included Bizet, Latin-American music and film and television themes.
We also play original music (for example, Takashi Ogawa’s ‘Saisons Japonaises’ in 2008.)
The WYGO rehearses throughout the year in Pershore, and we generally put on one concert a year, with the senior group, usually in the autumn.
New members are always welcome.
